Skyline
View the city from one of Munich’s ‘skyscrapers’. The elegant low-rise city of Munich offers you an amazing view on this five story high club with a huge dance floor. Every Saturday night, free salsa classes are offered for beginners and admission is between five and ten euros. Located near the Municher Freiheit station, the club is easily accessible.
PASCHA
World famous Pascha is one of the Munich clubs that offers you something unique. The uniqueness lays in the two dance floors this club owns which are separated by a moving wall. When the party really starts, the wall moves up and the music blasts over one huge dance floor. People of all ages are welcome, but dress to impress because the style is posh. A catwalk is occupied with professional dancers later on in the evenings, contributing to the party vibe. The club is located centrally and known for its friendly bouncers.
The Kultfabrik
Not just one club; many clubs! The Kultfabrik claims to be the largest party zone in Europe and it’s easy to understand why. Streets are filled with clubs, bars and restaurants and the occasional special event is hosted here. The Kultfabrik is located behind the Munich East (Munchen Ost) station.
Parkcafé
Parkcafe is a trendy club located in a historical building. However, don’t be fooled by its traditional characteristics. Inside the club is ultramodern and state of the art! Besides a disco, the location is home to a restaurant, café and even a beer garden. The party doesn’t start until late, which is often a sign for a unique party atmosphere. The club also offers quiet lounges where one can relax or romance. The club is located near the central station and admission is between five to ten euros, depending on the day of the week.
La Cumbia
If you are looking for a local experience with an international vibe, go off the beaten track to this Munich club. La Cumbia is easily accessible from Kolumbusplatz station. The outside might not look that attractive but don’t be fooled! The inside is home to a great crowd of professional salsa dancers and one can take classes as well. Admission is free for this Latino club which hosts a lot of Hispanic events as well.
Atomic Café
Many Munich clubs are modern, but this one offers a more retro atmosphere. The club is decorated in 70’s retro style and has a lot of different dance floors with different themes. Centrally located near Hofgarten Park, this club houses different music styles with people of all ages.
P1
Last but not least is P1, Munich’s pearl of club culture. Don’t expect to come in underdressed, even though admission is free. This club attracts the elite of the elite. Its design and dance floor reflect this as it’s lounge bar consists of floating chairs, hanging from the ceiling.
